MIF is recruiting for a number of roles to strengthen vital expertise in specific areas. This is to enable the company to successfully deliver a growing year-round programme of activity, as well as the Festival, which next takes place in July 2021. We are also planning for The Factory, the nationally important cultural space, which will be our permanent home. We are working to ensure we are equipped to deliver on The Factory’s promise to bring extraordinary art to the city and to create opportunities for artists and communities across Greater Manchester, including jobs and training. This is investment for the long term and we particularly encourage people living in the region, especially from under-represented groups, to apply.

MIF is planning an extraordinary return in Summer ‘21 to bring our city together again in a celebration of international culture, innovation and creativity. As Volunteer Manager you’ll be responsible for setting up and delivering an inspirational volunteer programme giving people from all across our city opportunities to join in and contribute in safe, invigorating and inspiring ways. You’ll work across teams at MIF, our partners and venues to reimagine volunteering in the post-Covid 19 era, and you’ll be part of the early discussion shaping future volunteering programmes at our future home The Factory.

We’re looking for a dynamic individual with the imagination to adapt our existing volunteer programmes for the current moment, and the practical skills to deliver with diligence and skill. If this sounds like you – we’d love to hear from you!

Closing date 01 October 2020

Interviews will take place on 20 October 2020 – These will be held remotely.
