Manchester International Festival (MIF), the world’s first festival of original, new work and special events is taking place from 04 – 21 July 2019. There will be a number of shift based and temporary roles available during and in the lead up to the festival. In preparation for this year’s festival, we are looking for expressions of interest in the following areas:
Artist Liaison – Individuals who have experience of assisting productions, artists and creative teams across a variety of art forms including music, theatre, visual arts and events.
Front of House – Individuals who have experience of working in public facing roles with a friendly and approachable manner and be committed to enhancing an audiences’ experience. Working alongside other Festival team members you will help make up the front facing team at Festival venues, providing a welcome to audience members. This will include giving show and venue information, checking tickets and directing people to their seats at some events.
Technical (Production Management/ Stage and Event Management/ Crew/ Wardrobe and Wig Staff) – Working as part of the Festival technical team, you will be expected to develop and maintain very high production standards working with a wide range of festival staff assisting with and/or managing events across various art forms including music, theatre and visual arts.
